About the role

This position will manage the entire relationship with assigned customer accounts. Therefore, you need to be a strategic partner, sell consultatively, effectively navigate changing priorities among customers, provide excellent, ongoing customer service, and approach situations from a position of humility and a passion for the work we do.

To be considered, you should:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree.
  • Have a history of managing accounts, which includes securing repeat business, garnering referrals, and finding new customers within existing accounts. Life sciences experience is a plus.
  • Know how to juggle multiple/large complex sales opportunities and effectively prioritize them.
  • Be able to process account and customer data and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Be able to qualify leads using a proven sales process while remaining passionate about the work you do.
  • Have proven success selling to top-level management within medium- to large-sized organizations in a longer sales cycle and global environment.
  • Have a passion for cultivating and managing customer relationships.
  • Be highly coachable, have a strong sense of responsibility and a high appetite for learning.
  • Be comfortable in a variety of selling situations, from possible project discussions, to live group presentations, to virtual (phone or web) interactions, and more.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with internal teammates to identify scope and develop the right learning solution options for your customers.

Previous experience in instructional design and training and development is helpful but not required. Consultative services selling experience (not product) required. Experience selling a variety of learning solutions (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led, online games, mobile tools, video, etc.) as part of a complex sale is a big plus.
