For the second consecutive year, Bottom-Line Performance was named a winner in the LTEN Excellence Awards. This year’s win was in the Innovation category for product launch training created in partnership with Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. (Ventana), a member of the Roche Group. Winners were announced at the 45th LTEN Annual Conference, the largest gathering of life science trainers and educators in the United States.

The winning entry was a gamified product launch curriculum used to commercialize the innovative VENTANA HE 600 system. The training curriculum helped support a successful launch… and it has set a new organizational standard for product launch training at Ventana. “Our goal as a global marketing team was to deliver to our sales affiliates a truly turnkey, best in class commercial education program that would enable our sales and marketing colleagues to communicate fluently through powerful storytelling the value proposition of our innovative diagnostic system,” said Vince Wong, former Senior International Business Leader at Ventana and current Vice President of Strategy and Communications at Roche Diagnostics. “Thanks to our partnership with Bottom-Line Performance, we were able to realize this vision. This award provides further validation for the innovative commercial training model we pioneered at Ventana.”

“A successful product launch training curriculum represents the hard work and creativity of many BLP team members and the trust and vision of a partner like Ventana,” said Sharon Boller, President of BLP. “We are honored to be the only training vendor to win two consecutive LTEN Excellence awards, both in partnership with our clients in the Roche Group.”

The LTEN Excellence Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing innovation and leadership within the life sciences training and development community. Through the LTEN Excellence Awards competition, practitioners and suppliers enter learning initiatives and training content in various categories for recognition of excellence. Awards were presented in seven categories, including Innovation, Learning Content, Emerging Leader, Partnership and All-Star Teams. Finalists are selected by a diverse group of experienced judges and, from that group of finalists, one winner from each category is awarded.

“LTEN is honored to recognize this year’s stellar crop of Excellence Awards winners for their invaluable contributions to life sciences training and to their individual organizations,” said Dawn Brehm, LTEN executive director. “Each of this year’s record number of nominees were worthy of recognition, and our panel of judges had to make some very tough choices to determine the best and brightest. The addition of the new categories helped us recognize both teamwork and individual contributions to company success and to the life sciences training industry. Congratulations to each nominee, finalist and winner in this year’s awards program.”

The LTEN Excellence Awards was designed and developed in partnership with the LTEN Advisory Council. The judging panel was comprised of twenty-two experienced professionals working in the life sciences education and training field.
