Bottom-Line Performance (BLP) is the proud recipient of two “Silver” awards in the 2014 Horizon Interactive Awards competition. The prestigious competition receives thousands of entries each year, and only 65% of all entries receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze distinction for excellence in interactive media.

The Avoid the BBPs eLearning course and the Hazard Communication eLearning course both earned a “Silver” designation in the Training/eLearning category. Both courses were created in partnership with Roche Diagnostics as part of their continued efforts to provide effective and engaging safety training to their employees.

“BLP is a trusted partner that has enabled us to transform boring compliance courses into creative, game-based learning experiences.” said Kevin Gara, Director of Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection at Roche.

The Horizon Interactive Awards is a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The competition recognizes and awards the best web sites, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards receives thousands of entries from all over the world. A panel of industry professionals, from diverse multi-media, graphic design and marketing backgrounds, review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized.

“We’ve partnered with various groups within Roche Diagnostics for ten years,” said Leanne Batchelder, VP of Client Relations at Bottom-Line Performance. “By providing eLearning of this quality to its learners, the Roche SHE group has shown their commitment to safety training that goes above and beyond OSHA compliance.”

These award-winning courses build on BLP’s recent success in the Horizon awards: solutions developed for Dow AgroSciences and Regis Corporation earned three awards in the 2013 competition.

“I feel these Roche safety courses are ‘case studies’ of how game elements can be built into an eLearning course to motivate and engage learners,” said Steven Boller, Marketing Director at BLP. “From a learner perspective, both courses do an excellent job of presenting foundational knowledge and procedures in a memorable, interactive way.”

BLP showcases these learning solutions, along with one of our Horizon award-winning courses from 2013, in a webinar on gamifying safety & compliance eLearning. You can access the webinar here.
