To expedite the sales and support process for their customers, Ingersoll-Rand and BLP partnered together in developing these two "Electricity" courses intended for sales reps. The courses were designed to help sales reps with their understanding of basic electricity giving them the ability to respond to basic questions without having to seek help from a technical support person.

With the help of an on-screen "learning agent", the learners were presented with concepts and skills in how the reps would use them on-the-job. Learners are given the opportunity here to apply what they learned instead of just remembering it. Both courses got rave reviews from the learners and the client. In fact, Electricity I and II won the eLearning Guild's national award for their instructional design.
