BLP Partners with Dayspring Center to Help Raise Over $29,000 for Homeless Families

giving-tuesday-banner

We are proud to announce that Dayspring Center’s #GivingTuesday movement was a huge success! Bottom-Line Performance and Silver in the City partnered with Dayspring Center, an emergency homeless shelter for families in Indianapolis, to match each donation that was made during the #GivingTuesday campaign. This year’s campaign brought in over $29,000 for the shelter.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. It’s celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. The movement connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving.

Dayspring Center’s Development Coordinator, Cheryl Herzog, expressed her gratitude for all the support the shelter received this year: “Every homeless child arriving in the coming weeks will have the comfort, encouragement and hope they need to feel confident, get healthy and back on track in the classroom. We realize there are many worthy organizations you could have chosen to support. We are so grateful you chose Indy’s homeless families and their children! Thank you for the many ways your gifts will change their lives.”

We’ve partnered with Dayspring Center over the years to renovate a playground, paint rooms, help needy families shop for the holidays and so much more as part of our BLP Cares program.

BLP President, Sharon Boller, shares, “This organization is very near and dear to our hearts and we are overjoyed at how much money was raised this year for #GivingTuesday. We want to say Thank You to all of our clients, employees, friends and family who donated this year to such a wonderful and worthy cause.”

Tis the season for giving! Please consider making a donation to Dayspring Center.

BLP Named to Inc. 5000 List for 2nd Straight Year

inc-5000-banner

Bottom-Line Performance  (BLP) is ranked #3435 on the 34th annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest growing private companies. It’s BLP’s second straight year on the list, driven by several years of strong revenue growth and a portfolio of clients that has grown from local to global.

“Our internal team and our clients both win as we grow,” says BLP president Sharon Boller. “Our team benefits from the emphasis we can put into developing their skills and capabilities; our clients benefit from the new capabilities we gain.”

BLP qualified for the Inc. 5000 by growing revenue by 95% from 2012 to 2015, up from 71% over the previous three-year measurement period. Because of this rapid growth, BLP has increased in size from 15 employees in 2011 to 35 in 2016 with more new jobs planned.

“I am very grateful to each and every one of our clients and employees for making BLP what it is today,” says BLP co-owner Kirk Boller. “This is our second year in a row on the list, which makes it an even rarer accomplishment. While this level of growth has never been BLP’s only goal, we’ll take it as a sign of our success as a company.”

The prestigious competition receives thousands of entries each year, and only 65% of all entries receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze distinction for excellence in interactive media. These award-winning solutions build on BLP’s recent success in the Horizon awards: BLP has now won six Horizon Awards since 2013, including two awards for the Knowledge Guru platform.

The Knowledge Guru mobile reinforcement and gaming app earned a Silver designation in Mobile Apps – Education. BLP also won a Bronze Horizon Interactive award for Password Blaster, an arcade-style game that helps Cummins, Inc. employees learn how to create secure passwords. Players must “blast” the bad passwords while letting the good passwords pass by. It is part of a larger Information Asset Protection curriculum design to help Cummins employees protect sensitive information.

“BLP helped develop resources to address and mitigate global threats facing employees, facilities and information assets. They created a multitude of interactive modules that fit within a one-stop-shop Security Toolkit designed to help our employees access and navigate our security resources and learning portals” said Bryan Langley, Global Security Manager at Cummins, Inc. “Their product has been globally acclaimed and we look forward to continuing our future collaboration with them.”

The Horizon Interactive Awards is a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The competition recognizes and awards the best web sites, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards receives thousands of entries from all over the world.
