| Internships | We offer internships each semester to college juniors and seniors who have backgrounds in multimedia (graphic design, web development, programming), instructional design, or related communications majors (English, Journalism, Communications). Our multimedia developers work as part of our project teams helping us create graphics and multimedia (Flash animations, audio, video) that support our learning solutions. Senior developers help our clients figure out exactly what we need to build (i.e. define technical specifications and the appropriate technical solutions for specific problems). Bacgkrounds in web development, Flash, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator and rapid authoring tools such as Lectora, Articulate, or others are desired as is skill in video and audio production and post-production. |

Learning designers Senior learning designers |
Senior learning designers manage project teams and define the instructional design solution that best meets the clients’ needs. They figure out the appropriate delivery media (a video? A multimedia course? A website?), help the clients define the learning outcomes required, and design learning activities. Learning designers focus on content – what will go INTO this solution we create? They work directly with people we know affectionately as “SMEs” or subject matter experts – to craft great scripts, learning materials, etc. They are uber researchers and writers extraordinaire – whether writing a podcast, a classroom course, a webinar, or an e-course. |
