I am a Senior Learning Designer.

What I bring to your Bottom Line

I bring experience from the corporate world that helps me understand the challenges you face. Before I joined BLP, I was a one-woman training department – I know what it's like to work with limited resources, little time, and organizational challenges! One of my favorite parts of the job is helping our clients find solutions to their problems.

Often those problems should be tackled through a variety of learning solutions. I enjoy finding the most effective path - whether it’s through better knowledge management, interactive forums, or a series of learning bites. Regardless of the learning solution we design, I want it to be FUN. Even technical topics can be engaging and taught with a sense of humor.

I have a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Indianapolis and a Masters of Science in Adult Education from Indiana University.

Facts About Me

• I’m super crafty. My general response to seeing something I like in a store - “I could make that!”
• I have a great group of friends who meet every year on our birthdays. We’re very organized and have written rules, such as: Don’t send thank you notes for birthdays. If one person started doing it then everyone would feel obligated to.
• I am straight forward.
• I love old movies. A Sunday afternoon watching TCM is just about perfect.

How I like to Give Back

I lead my church’s English as a Second Language program. It’s extremely rewarding to help our students learn English and gain the skills they need to be successful in our community.

Since I was a teenager, I’ve mentored inner-city girls. I’ve spent many summers at camp with them over the years. Even though there have been lots of sleepless nights, tipped canoes, and bug bites, I’ve loved every minute!
