Who I am

I am Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

What I bring to your Bottom Line

I am an owner/partner, Vice President, and CFO. I contribute to the overall strategy of the company, oversee all financial functions, am the officer responsible for our Multimedia team, work with our President on emerging technology, and maintain infrastructure for the company. All of these roles contribute to BLP providing learning expertise to our clients that is both valuable and a good value.

Facts About Me

• I have run 7 ½ marathons. I missed qualifying for Boston by less than a minute one time. The ½ was on a foot with a stress fracture. I quit after 14 miles. It wasn’t worth the pain.
• I used to be the audit director for the North American operations of an $80+ billion dollar international financial company based in Amsterdam, and also the legal compliance director for the U.S. operations. I started the audit function from scratch. Doing that and working with the board of directors and senior management has been valuable experience to me in my role at BLP. It taught me that opportunity is the most valuable thing you can offer people and nothing is more rewarding than seeing people flourish with new challenges and opportunities.
• I don’t feel like I work. I just do what needs to be done every day. I think that is a gift.

How I like to Give Back

I am very excited about the development of our company “giving back” program, our local partnership with Dayspring Center, and our current Haiti project that will use our team’s expertise to create a website that will provide education about the disaster and needs in order to help raise funds for rebuilding a school and road in Haiti. I am a new member of the Indianapolis Kiwanis Club. I will be helping with their Abe Lincoln Scholarship program, which provides scholarships to high school seniors who have overcome severe obstacles in their lives and have achieved despite these adversities.
