I am a Senior Multimedia Developer.
What I bring to your Bottom LineAs a former webmaster, I bring a diverse set of skills to the table. Before BLP, I was a one-person shop. As a one-person shop, I had to do anything and everything that my clients needed. Website design, print design, email marketing, server administration, Flash, Jquery, video - you name it; I like to do, have done it and more. I have a passion for this field that is unmatched. I am an avid learner, and am always trying to make something fun and engaging.
Facts About Me- I was the webmaster of seven magazines websites ... while I was a junior in college. I've had interns who were my senior in education.
- I've been doing Flash since before Flash was cool. Way before there was a MX or a CS. I was making cartoons in middle-school.
- I'm married to an amazing woman from Turkey, who thinks I spend too much time on the computer.
- I'm planning on pursuing a Master's degree, and possibly teaching part-time. There's no better way to stay on top of things than to teach them.
- I once held four part-time jobs at once (Three were related to Flash and Web).
I have a strong affinity for the Boys and Girls clubs of America. Growing up, it was my refuge after school. I spent probably 30% of my childhood there (I'm a Hoosier, I love to play basketball). When given the opportunity, I volunteer to help as a chaperone, mentor, and tutor. I have also helped them with design and web work in the past.
I also enjoy helping students in my field and especially those from my alma matter at IUPUI. I am currently in touch with, and constantly give advice to all of the interns I've had throughout my career. Nearly every semester, I assist the Career Department by speaking to classes, conducting students informational interviews, bringing them in for a job shadow, and whatever else I can do to help.
I frequently assist the director of the Online Communications Department with occasional interactive tasks and have also created graphics, Flash, or web-parts for on-campus and other not-for-profit organizations.
